So pleased we found this gem in Guanajuato.
After being welcomed by Liz, the owner, we settled into our very comfortable apartment, with an amazingly well stocked kitchen. We also had a large patio with amazing views of Guanajuato. Liz is an artist, who had the vision of an artist or spiritual retreat, it is beautiful and so peaceful. There are five apartments, Liz’s house and four studios. It was so wonderful to return after exploring the beautiful city of Guanajuato, to relax on the patio and watch the sunset. We highly recommend this amazing place. It is very safe, with easy access to the city with all it has to offer.
Florecer Casitas is the perfect setting for an enjoyable visit to Guanajuato!
Our stay at Florecer Casitas in Guanajuato was delightful! We stayed in an apartment with a private patio overlooking the city and the view was amazing! We loved watching the sun set while listening to the unique and fascinating sounds of Guanajuato! Our apartment was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed to make as many of our own meals as we wanted and to relax after a busy day of sightseeing. Liz, the owner, is warm, friendly, accommodating and helpful and the information binder she has provided in the apartment tells you all you need to know to be as busy as you want to be. The gardens around the apartments are beautiful, providing a welcome sense of peace and serenity after the hustle and bustle of the town centre. It is a bit of a hike downhill to the town centre and a challenging climb back up, but it's easy and cheap to catch a minibus or taxi ride either direction. And being in Centro Guanajuato is worth the walk! We hiked down at least once a day and caught the bus back up most of the time. If you're fit, you might enjoy the exercise. Guanajuato is such an interesting city and the town centre is a really fun place to hang out, people watch and soak up the invigorating vibe of the crowds! And Florecer Casitas is the perfect setting for an enjoyable visit! I am already looking forward to next time! Blami
A perfect place to stay for a week or longer in Guanajuato
Artist owned, fully furnished, newly built 1 bedroom with kitchen and large patio overlooking the historic city and surrounding hills on a street above the University. Beautiful garden setting, very private with easy bus access or walking distance to town center. I have traveled extensively and find this one of the most pleasant places I have ever stayed. Owner is very helpful and has contacts with excellent tour guides and drivers for sightseeing/transport in area or to and from airport. Very highly recommended and I will go back again with friends and family--a special place. Carol
