Liz has created a beautiful place above Guanajuato which we loved coming home to after our busy days in town and at Cervantino. Our casita was beautifully decorated, stocked with everything we needed, and completely comfortable. Liz's place was simply amazing! The pictures do not do it justice (and the pictures are pretty good)! We were so thrilled to stay here from the moment we stepped through the gate. Liz and George were so helpful with any questions we had. They were almost always available and offered to pickup supplies for our home a couple times too which was very thoughtful. This is a beautiful location to stay at and the compound feels completely safe. We loved staying here and love Guanajuato! My wife convinced me to give this city a try and I'm so glad I did. Florecer Casitas is the best, most beautiful place in Guanajuato, and my personal casita is "Jazmin".  After Spanish class, running around town and up and down the tiny streets, and tacos for lunch, I always come back to my casita for a nap.  It's heaven!!!!!  The center of town is noisy and busy and here the garden is peaceful and cool.  This place has everything I need.  I love it, and I'll be back!   (as soon as I find a more flexible job)                                                                                 Andrea

This place is gorgeous and so well thought out, Liz really did a wonderful job with it. We stayed in casita #3 for a week and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. There is a fun mix of modern and more traditional furnishings (including a cupboard full of pottery made locally), and plenty of places to sit and relax. The location is perfect; close enough to walk to everything in Guanajuato yet just far enough away from the center to be really peaceful. Liz is such a welcoming host (and also a talented baker!). lovely sanctuary:
Everything was perfect. Actually, it was more than perfect, but that adjective will have to do. The room design and prep was meticulous and well thought out, the proximity to town was an easy downhill walk, the cabs back up the hill were inexpensive, and there was a lovely woman who made fresh orange juice just a ten minute walk from the apartment. Did I mention the fresh bread, tortillas, and meat also close by? Honestly, we could not have asked for a finer experience. I would come back in a heartbeat. Liz made us feel welcome and helped us when we had questions. She was gracious, cheerful, and knowledgeable.
